Tickets for Giverny

In September, I am planning to take the train to Vernon to visit Giverny Monet's Garden. Is it necessary to purchase the Monet's Garden tickets in advance via online? On the website, it has 3 different online avenues for the tickets, See, Ticketmaster, and FNAC. For some reason, Ticketmaster is currently selling tickets only through August 17. Looking for some advice on how to proceed.

Thank you in advance for your advice.

Tickets are for a timed entry so it is best to buy in advance. Most places are like this now it seems the days of showing up at a site when you want and purchasing entry are fading away. I have no answer as to why TIcketmaster only has available tickets for the next 2 weeks or so. See has tickets for the time frame you are going and are $1 cheaper per ticket. As both are listed on the site for Monet's Garden either would be safe to purchase from. I'd probably just purchase from See since it's slightly cheaper and available now.

I don't think they sell them on site anymore -- you need to buy them from the official website. You don't necessarily need to do it far in advance -- but you need to buy them on line.
