We have prepaid tickets through Rail Europe from Paris to Amsterdam. From station Gare du Nord to Centraal station in Amsterdam.
I suppose we will travel that day but perhaps be delayed by the train strikes? Could someone provide some clarity. I read somewhere that 3 out of 4 international trains will run. Is this correct?
Thanks for your help in advance.
The exact number of trains running is not announced more than two days in advance. Much information about links to various rail sites SNCF, Thalys, Eurostar, Deutsche Bahn has been posted already on this forum. Check it out. A strike calendar link has also been posted.
Yes, 75020, I did read the information on the links. That is why my question is targeted specifically to the day I'm traveling on 23 April.
My questions are: our tickets are for 8:37 am - will we be likely traveling the same day if our train is not running? Our tickets are for Thalys from Paris to Amsterdam, can I assume this is international? The website states that international trains will run 90% of the time?
Again, the exact train schedules are not posted more than 2 days before the scheduled run. The links you read were April first notices for April 3. You will have to be in touch with Thalys web site 48 hours before your scheduled departure.
Okay, thanks! I appreciate your help, 75020.
