A friend and I are spending a few days in the Camargue in April, and read a little something about this as a spa-type experience, but we've never heard of it! We aren't really spa ladies but enjoy a massage now and then. Has anyone tried this? Should we just go soak in the Mediterranean instead?

I went to a thalassotherapy spa in Greece and to one in Normandy. I am a spa lady so I enjoyed my visits. Both were basically the same as a regular spa except that pools were salt water and relatively warm and all the treatments were seaweed or sea-product based. Both were in hotels if that makes a difference.
