Trying to book a ticket for early April for CDG to Disneyland station.
If I try and book through SNCF it says that they don’t know schedule that far out, but even if I try and book for early March, it shows train but no way to purchase (either on website or app.)
If I go to raileurope I see the train and can purchase ticket, but with extra booking fees.
Is it me?
Not sure why the SNCF website doesn’t allow the ticket purchase— I tried to and also found no way to currently buy the train ticket. Ce la vie! This sort of obstacle is why many of us buy train tickets from The Trainline—a company like RailEurope that contracts with SNCF and many other national train companies in Europe. You can buy your tickets now for any date in April at www.TheTrainline.com.
Say “Bonjour” to Mickey and Minnie for us.
You might be just to early. I suspect that SCNF prefers to first see how many tickets they can sell for longer sectors, and that they open this very short sector only at the last moment, to sell of left over seats.
If you go to other sites you may well get a cryptic response that their attempt to get you a ticket failed....
That train journey is not sold by SNCF because it's technically not a permitted trip (for obscure reasons).
But Trainline is a reputable agent and sells those tickets, so use Trainline. They're legit. Or rail Europe.
