TGV seat reservations when buying tickets

Specifically, I am buying tickets via SNCF.

It looks as though seat reservations are included in the price, since specific seats are specified.

And I don't see any place on the page to buy reservations.

Bu the screen I get also does not say explicitly that reservations are included.

I just thought I'd check in with the crowd here before I pull the trigger. Am I doing it right? The tickets are nonrefundable.

Thanks!

Yes, the seat reservations are included in the price. You do NOT need to purchase seat reservations separately.

Thank you! That's what I thought, but one does like to be sure.

If you need a reservation, the ticket always includes it. The concept of having to do a separate reservation is alien to most travellers. It only applies to those tourists with passes, not to people buying normal tickets. That is why it is sometimes difficult to get a reservation separately, it is not something that is normally done.

When you book train tickets, and if you don't like the seats assigned to you, you can cancel the order before paying and try again for better seats. You can keep trying, as long as you haven't paid.

I have a seat booked on the TGV Libourne to Paris tomorrow but have to change to the earlier Bordeaux to Paris TGV because my connection on to Auxerre is disrupted. I should have time to negotiate a ticket change at Bordeaux but is it allowed?

Just to answer my own query: the controller on my TER train to Bordeaux rang someone on his mobile and then endorsed my TGV ticket to allow me to use it on the next TGV departure from Bordeaux. There were so many empty seats that I was told I could sit where I liked!
