TGV INOUI PRO App Vs. SNCF Connect App

HI Fellow Stevedores

  1. I live in France and already have the SNCF Connect App, do I need to also download and use the TGV INOUI PRO App or would that be redundant?
  2. Do they have different functions/capabilities or are they basically the same?
  3. If there are differences, can someone explain them to me, Google offers no answers..

Thanks & Bon Voyage.

If you buy all your tickets through SNCF Connect, then SNCF Connect is the only app you need.
TGV Inoui Pro is able to synchronize tickets bought through other channels, such as corporate travel agencies. It is of no use to the typical leisure traveller.

We were just in France, and I really loved how user friendly and convenient the SNCF app was! The only not great experience was on one trip, we were going from Lille, France to Ghent, Belgium. The app said there was no QR code for that trip, and at the train station kiosk we should enter our confirmation code to obtain tickets. So we get to the train station, and find the kiosk, and nothing about it works. We asked others who were successfully using the kiosk to help us; and they couldn't figure it out. Finally, an attendant came by and she said (thankfully she spoke English) not this kiosk, but there is one inside. How would we have ever known this? Obviously that wasn't an app problem, but not sure why most journeys on the app have a QR code which makes it so convenient; yet others don't.
