TGV from Paris CDG airport to Tours?

What is the easiest and fastest way to take the TGV to Tours when arriving at CDG? Thank you.

There is a TGV station at Charles de Gaulle airport, but it has fewer services than Gare Montparnasse in the centre of Paris.
Depending on the time of day it may be faster to get a TGV from "Aéroport Paris-Charles de Gaulle TGV" station (changing at St-Pierre-des-Corps), or take the RER into Paris and then get a TGV from Gare Montparnasse.

You can look up times and prices on: https://www.capitainetrain.com

Tickets are cheaper bought in advance. But, if you buy a ticket and miss your train because the flight was delayed or it takes longer than average to go through immigration, hard luck, there is no comeback or refund. You would need to buy a full fare ticket fro a later train.

Assuming you are arriving at Terminal 2, just follow the signs to the train station, buy a ticket, wait for the train, board and go. If you are arriving at Terminal 1 (ie United Airlines), take the inter terminal shuttle train to Terminal 2. Trains to Tours (and Saint Pierre des Corps just outside of town) are not all that frequent, so there could be a wait of an hour or 2.

I you end up needing to go to Montparnasse station, another option to the RER/Metro combo is the Les Cars Air France direct bus #4 (takes one hour).

Shay, note that the first reply reasonably assumed that you meant what you said, and wanted to arrive at the Tours station. Many tourists reserve a car beside the St Pierre des Corps TGV station, and thus don't need to change trains, or go to "downtown" Tours. Beware of posted lunch hours on the car rental station office data. Lunch is two hours.

We took the TGV from CDG to Tours with no issues. Only a couple of words of advice, 1. Just like the airlines you may sit in only the one seat you have been assigned. Don't put your luggage in someone else's seat... because eventually someone is going to sit right next to you even when half of the car is empty. Each train car is numbered. On the train platform, the train will stop in a very specific place so that each car stops in a marked area. While you're waiting for the train, find that marked area and wait there. Know if your seats are upstairs or down. When the train arrives, you now know which car to enter and which way to go to find you seat(s) 2. Buy your tickets in advance. If you know your flight is going to be substantially late, before you board the plane you can cancel your tickets and rebook a later one. Even if your train has left before you get to it, the tickets are very forgiving and you can cancel/rebook them 1-2 hours after the train has left.
