We have printed e-tickets from Paris to St. Pierre des Corps. Do we have to check in at the train station or just board the train? Thanks in advance.

You just board the correct train to your destination ;-)
Make sure to arrive at least 15-20 minutes prior to your departure time, so you can find the correct track, etc.

Yes, we are staying in Amboise but picking up a rental car in St. Pierre. Can't wait.

We truly enjoyed our stay in Amboise!
FYI, most of the shops & bakeries are closed on Mondays, as well as some restaurants.
We enjoyed a delicious meal at Chez Bruno, just make sure to make advance reservations. We actually ate there 2 nights in a row! The gelato at Amorino's is very yummy too!

we stayed in an incredible B&B 15 min walk out of Amboise centre on the banks of the Loire - fabulous
If you want a great Martini, go to Le Shaker - the drink is excellent and the view over the castle is superb. The evening we were there hot air balloons were flying over the castle- incredible

A train attendant may come through the car checking tickets with a scanner. Passengers may have to show photo i.d. (a passport) at the same time but I don't know how often this is actually requested.
