TGV CDG 2 to Mercure Hotel: Shuttle? Taxi?

We will be arriving tomorrow 8:00pm at TGV CDG 2 and will have a couple large suitcases + various carry-on bags. What is the best way to get from there to Mercure hotel at the airport? I’m a little wary of muscling the luggage on and off the airport shuttle. Is it reasonable to catch a taxi?

And while we’re on the subject: same question re Mercure to CDG terminal the next morning?

Hi,
There are two Mercure at the airport: I'm assuming it's the one called "Airport and Convention", on the grounds. If you manage the TGV with your luggage (remember there's no porters to help and no trolleys either, and there are steps inside the trains especially if you're seated upstairs), you'll manage to take the airport shuttle train to "Parc PR", after which does come a probably unpleasant walk to the hotel (10 min with luggage I guess?).
You could book a taxi for the way back the next morning, no issue. And in theory you could take a taxi to get to the hotel as well, but the driver will HATE you (small fare after a long wait).

There are taxis which work only the airport region; a Novotel called one for us once in an emergency. Maybe the taxi minder who designates the cabs can get one for you. Otherwise, regular cabs have a two-hour wait in a holding area to pick up a fare, so going only to the Mercure is a bad blow for your driver. Can you store the big stuff at the airport for the night?

I would contact the hotel and ask about transportation.

A taxi may refuse to take you nearby for what is potentially a 10€ fare. Drivers are supposed to pickup all fares but what are you going to do if he tells you no?
