Terminal transfer at CDG

I've got to change terminals to meet up with another couple. I arrive in Terminal 1, they arrive in Terminal 2. I've reserved a car pick up for all of us and I've been told that since I arrive earlier, I should go to Terminal 2. Does anyone know where the drop off is at the terminal? I'm told to meet outside the luggage claim area.

Yes u need to know which part of Terminal 2 their flight is arriving at, as Terminal 2 is comprised of several different buildings. There's Terminal 2A, 2C, 2D, 2E, and 2F.

And yes you will take the CDGVal from Terminal 1 over to the Terminal 2 buildings.
