Terminal 1 at CDG is (progressively) re-opening after nearly 3 years

During the pandemic, the Paris Airports authority closed Terminal 1 (which you use for Lufthansa and United, among other airlines), and then kept it closed for refurbishment.

It started reopening progressively as of today.

Here is a link in English to the airport website that says which airline will move as of what date: United won't move back to Terminal 1 until Jan 9, 2023, while Lufthansa moved back yesterday.

Thanks Kim! Looks like from that alpha listing there is a lot of movement to and fro so good for people to check especially if they are transiting thru CDG. Looks like my air carrier of choice is staying put which is fine with me, lol!!

Erm... Great news for architecture lovers, but maybe less so for travellers 😂 - unless it eases occasional congestion in T2. Thanks for the info anyway!

Thanks for information. Good to know. Flying into CDG from SFO, I only use Air France or United. I'll know where I am when my United flight arrives in CDG.

Yes, it's basically that if you are a United flyer you know that by early January, you will be going back to where you used to go.

I was interested separately to see that American will be leaving its 2A home permanently too for 2B.

Aha, that's why American is moving, then . . .
