We were going to get an apartment near the Seine in the 7th near Pont Alma but my Mom has found an apartment she likes near Metro Dupleix near blvd Grenelle.......I don't know much about the area.....Between the 2, which would you choose?

The area is fine - closish to the Eiffel Tower but not heavily tourist-focussed. The only issue I would raise is that the Metro runs through that area on a metal elevated structure (think New York or Chicago) and things could be noisy. The Alma area is more heavily touristed and a bit more upmarket (although Grenelle isn't grotty).
