I am planning a stay at a hotel in Villeneuve-les-Avignon, just across the river from Avignon. I plan to pop over to Avignon a couple times while there for some sightseeing and dinner. It's about a 35 minute walk over, which sounds great during the daytime, but not as appealing after dinner. Is it easy to get a taxi/have a restaurant call a taxi/request an uber in Avignon?

Yes to all three, Avignon has Uber and taxis. By the way, don't miss the sights in Villeneuve itself, it is an interesting place. Some great views from the old medieval Philippe le Bel Tower.

Thank you! And yes, I am definitely planning to explore Villeneuve! I’ve heard wonderful things—happy to take any specific recommendations on that as well.
