Taxi Rate increases - Paris to/from CDG and Orly

New taxi fares went into effect Feb 2024:

> The flat-rate rates introduced for direct shopping for Parisian taxis

between Paris and Roissy-Charles-de-Gaulle and Orly airports (in both
directions) are in 2024:

56 between Paris - Charles de Gaulle airport and Paris on the right bank;
EUR 65 between Paris - Charles de Gaulle airport and Paris shore on the left side;
44 - between Paris-Orly airport and Paris - right bank;
36 euros between Paris-Orly airport and Paris on the left bank.

The prices are the same for the additional tariff for calling a taxi (4E) and for booking ahead (7E).

Nigel! Your comment made me go back and look at the website to see if there is any surcharge for the Olympics time frame. I remembered the Metro/Bus prices will almost double during that time frame but doesn't look like that will happen with the taxis.

Do the taxis accept credit cards? I hate to have to exchange my money at the airport! Thanks.

Yes, they are supposed to.

Some will claim that their machine is broken but if you show that you only have a card they will have to take it

@dkolikof - You may just have used the wrong terms but you don't want to exchange cash for Euro. IF you want cash you will want to use your Debit card at an ATM to get cash for a better exchange rate.
