Taxi or Uber recommendations/advice Avignon to Saint-Rémy de Provence

This round of travel is all public transport, and I’m having some challenges with getting between Uzès and Saint-Rémy de Provence tomorrow in the later part of the day. Uzès to Avignon is fine, just not many choices for the bus, and the later bus appears to arrive after the last bus leaves for Saint-Rémy. (Don’t get me started on how there’s a ton of info online about the line 57, which appeared to have nice late options but is not the proper line anymore, and also how the correct line, the 707, appears to have later buses on some weeknights and not others. Also don’t get me started about the ZOU! website functionality)

So, I think we may splurge and hire a taxi or an Uber. Anyone have experience with either in Avignon? Bonus points if anyone has actually had experience Avignon to Saint-Rémy in particular.

The last bus is at 7:15 pm from the Avignon Bus station. Your bus from Uzes arrives after that?

No, before that - 18h20. But I am not consistently seeing that bus you mention. Can you link me with where you are finding that info? I found that bus for today (Wednesday) but not Thursday, which has had me scratching my head.

Your right, last bus tomorrow is 6:15 pm. Scratching my head as well.

Tomorrow is a public holiday : so probably a Sunday schedule. Hence the different times.

Okay, back to the original question, now that we’ve figured out the weirdo horaires for ZOU!

Any tips or experience with taxi/Uber in Avignon? (I wouldn’t care that much but my spouse, who is joining me after a month on my own, has had a super-fiasco with flying, should have arrived yesterday, and instead is arriving in 6 hours - we need to avoid fiasco tomorrow if possible)

No experience, sorry.
Right now Uber is quoting me 37€ and 7 min wait from Avignon Centre railway station to Saint Rémy de Provence: not as bad as I feared!

That’s not bad! Perhaps worse tomorrow with the férié but it might be one of those times to just suck it up and pay it! Thank you.

Uber did turn out to be the best option. It was around what the other poster had found and we only waited about 15 minutes. Not as cheap as the bus but the best we could do given the circumstances. Thanks for the help!
