Before our RS tour in May we will be spending several nights in Giverny. We have reviewed train/bus options, but after a 3 hour drive to Seattle and an all night flight and aged in our mid 60’s-70’s we are considering taking a taxi from the airport to Giverny. Several on-line taxi brokers have a lot of “Avoid” recommendations. Any suggestions on how and where to get a reputable taxi driver at a fair price? We know enough to avoid any airport “taxi driver” that approaches us with a “deal.”

Hopefully someone will have a suggestion for a private driver/car service that you can prearrange, where they follow your flight arrival time, and accommodate when it changes, etc. It looks like Easy Go Shuttle provides service like that, but I have no experience with it. There must be so many car service companies in Paris for something like this. I would definitely pay for the luxury of a car service than rely an a taxi.
