I am traveling with a group of 6 adults. We plan to arrive in Paris at the North train station early afternoon and head to our hotel on the left bank. I've read that the G7 taxi is the service to use since we have a large party.
Any recommendations otherwise?
Should we book ahead of time or is there service at the train station to accommodate our group without a reservation?
Thank you
Here's a lot of info about Gare du Nord, including where to get taxis. From your train, walk down the platform into the station, then turn right. The taxis will be waiting just outside, with a dispatcher. Don't accept any ride offers inside the station, they're not licensed taxis. With six adults and luggage you'll need either two taxis or an oversize one.
I think you can do this without booking ahead of time, but if it makes you more comfortable, G7 is recommended by other posters here. I don't know whether you would get them as described above or at the front of the station -- presumably someone would be holding up a sign with your name on it. Of course this will cost more.

Thank you for the links and information.
