Our flight is scheduled to arrive CDG at 6:30 p.m. no telling how long it will take to go through customs/passport control/baggage retrieval but we think it might be maybe 7:30 p.m. by the time we can leave the airport. Since we can no longer obtain a pass sanitarire before we travel we will not have one upon arrival. Will our CDG vaccination cards (vaccines will have been completed more than a year before our travel) be accepted by the Paris taxis? Is a pass sanitaire or CDC vaccination card even required for taxis? I was just thinking that since it will be so late that we should try to obtain our passes the next day rather than get them at CDG for catching a taxi to the city of Paris. Any thoughts?
Taxis do not request the passes.
You also don't need the pass sanitaire to take the RER. metro or a bus in Paris.
I am currently in Paris.
My CDC vaccination card has been accepted everywhere requested.
If the clerk shows a slight hesitation I say USA in a friendly voice.
I know that I can get the Pass at the pharmacy around the corner but I haven’t yet felt the need to spend the additional 22 Euros.
Enjoy your trip — the Parisians and happy to have us back.
Thanks everyone! Sounds like it won't be a big problem (unlike my possible problem with Swiss airlines as they won't tell me what documents they require for me to get on the plane at SFO)! Surely they must know what they require! But, again, I really appreciate all the great input.
