Because we will be exhausted from our flight from Hawaii we need the easiest way to get from CDG airport to St Lazare station. I’m thinking taxi but I’m open to other suggestions. Thanks

Texie is probably the easiest and most affordable if you don’t want to take the metro. It’s a flat fare of 55 or €58. (I can’t remember where the station is.).
Just be sure to follow the blue footsteps of the official taxi stand because the guy standing around who tells you he’s giving you a great deal will rip you off

Following up on the response above, taxis between CDG and Paris are a flat rate. The current rate to Gare St Lazare is 55€ (62€ if it was located on the Left Bank). The new fares went into effect on February 1, 2023.

Taxis are likely the simplest, but practically as easy and certainly cheaper for one or two people is the RoissyBus. I think it is 13€ per person and departs right outside of arrivals at CDG. It drops you at the Opéra Garnier, which is a 7-minute walk to Gare Saint-Lazare. However, the taxi flat rate is for up to four people. So your savings may vary. Either taxi or Bus are far preferable to tunneling under the city using train/metro with their attendant stairs, escalators, filth and connections.
