Is it possible to use a credit card for my taxi ride to my hotel (Châtelet-les Halles)?
I understand this is a 50 Euro flat rate (no tip required)
I also understand that I will only accept a ride from the designated taxi queue

All taxis are supposed to take credit cards. Sometimes a car has a “broken” credit card machine and the driver will accept only cash. Just tell the taxi dispatcher that you need a driver who accepts credit cards.

Even after you make the taxi line manager aware you want a cab that will take a card, as you are showing the taxi driver the written out address for your hotel I'd also show him your credit card and ask, "OK?".
