Taxi fares in Rouen, Normandy

Does anyone know a way to calculate taxi fare from central old town Rouen (for sake of argument let's say the Cathedral) to Europcar, 1 Rue Antoine Lavoisier Et, 76300 Sotteville-lès-Rouen, France? I tried googling this but I'm not at all sure of the results. I was thinking that rather than picking up the car near the train station on the right bank it might be better to save $50 on the rental by picking up the car at the downtown office. Assuming, of course that the taxi would be significantly under €50. Is there any reason that I should not book and pick up the rental in the downtown, left bank location? As always, your input is greatly valued.

The Sotteville location is not exactly downtown, it is in the middle of an industrial area. Do you speak French? Are you OK with not getting the type of car you want, including driving a manual? If the answers to both questions is 'yes', no problem. If one of them is 'no', I would stick with major rental locations such as the train the station.

Given the distance I guess that the taxi fare is around €25, but that's just my guess.

Thanks, Balso,
so the location Europecar is calling "downtown" is a small rental operation with fewer cars? I'm certainly okay with the manual shift but I need to get at least the type of car auto Europe has stated, i.e.: four-door compact Fiat 500 X or similar. I believe I could switch to the train station rental which would cost about $40 more but either way, we would need to take a taxi from the hotel to Europcar. So I was thinking it might not make any difference where we picked up the car since we need to take a taxi. I speak no more than minimal French but can certainly hand the driver a piece of paper with the address of the pickup. Any further thoughts?
