Will be traveling by train from Bordeaux St-Jean on Saturday, May 2, and taking taxi to apartment in 5th Arrondissement. Need help in knowing where taxi stand is located so that we don't have to wander with luggage to find. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Kyle

Taxi Locations at Gare Montparnasse:

Main Rank: Located at the taxi arrivals yard (turn left after exiting the train).
Novotel Side: Outside the front entrance of the Novotel.
Vaugirard Exit: Outside the Casino, 30-32 Bd Vaugirard.
Hall 2: Additional taxi access available on Level 3, directly above the platforms.

There are overhead signs when you get off the train pointing you to the taxi rank.

And you get in a line - the attendants assign you a taxi based on your party size and luggage amount. Not a big deal.

When I got a cab last October from here there was no line manager but it was orderly. A cab pulled up, 1st person in line got in. My driver complained that he had been in line for 2 hours...and was slightly p*ssed that I was only going to the Rue Cler area so a short fare for him.
