We are too old to drive so plan on taking some taxis.Do we book in advance or hope there will be available taxis waiting? Please help with your advice on the probable places; Avignon near the Palais des Papes to
Les Baux, (bus and train arrive too far from the actual town, the Les Baux to St Remy de Provence center, and another day from St.Remy center to Glanum ruins and even more important from Glanum back to St.Remy center. Then to Arles and then to Aix en Provence.
We are too old to change busses, trains, and will have to pay for taxis if we must. I hope someone has
the energy to give us this advice. Thanks:Merci!
I’ve done a couple of those places that have to be honest. I don’t recall seeing a lot of taxis. Maybe you should look for a tour guide with a minivan or something who could drive you around? I’m not sure what to suggest but I’m not sure that the taxi is going to be a good option because a lot of these places, the drivers aren’t going to want to take you just one way.
On several visits, I have found the Avignon tourism office to be quite helpful. They might help with your needs, certainly better than I can.
