Here is what it says on the carte: Ce menu dégustation est à commander pour l’ensemble de votre table.
Does this mean that if anyone at the table is getting the tasting menu, everyone must order it?

This tasting menu is to be ordered for your entire table.
That's common on every tasting menu I've ever seen.
An alternative, although maybe not necessarily the most acceptable, is that everybody orders something different, not a tasting menu, and everyone shares a taste off their plate. So people can get a small taste of a variety of things, but it might not be so great to be passing food back and forth, or eating off each other’s plates.
The degustation is an eating adventure that everybody joins in, like a rafting trip down a rushing river — everybody jump in and hold on!
We eat family style with friends all the time like this in the US and most restaurants are happy (or at least willing) to provide plates to facilitate this. I have not seen it done in France and would think it might not be as welcomed in that rather rigid dining culture. Easy for a couple to do this, just switching plates, but for a larger group, it may be awkward.
I've had tasting menus for one several times in Paris. But I was alone. Shop around.
