I will be in Rouen France and want to travel to Mont St. Micheal, what is the best way to get there?

If you are not driving take trains that require the least amount of time to get there:

Also once you get to Pontorson-mont-st-michel train stop you have to take a bus outside the train station to the Mont St Michel

From Rouen, it is not easy to take public transport to Mont St Michel. The fastest way is to go through Paris and Rennes. From Normandy, it is easier from Caen or Bayeux.
