Taking the Train RER C from the 14th Arrondissement to Palace of Versailles

Bonjour!

We will be staying in the 14th arrondissement and planning a day to the Palace of Versailles. How does one get from our area to the RER C train to Versailles? Thank you.

What date? There are closures on the RER C line to Versailles at various times this summer.

We are in Paris September 8 -13. Thinking of September 11, but the 10 or 12th could work. Thank you!

https://www.ratp.fr/en/itineraires will only show me out to September 5 for now. Check again a little later. But it shows the RER C open, Take the RER B to St Michel/Notre Dame and change to the RER C to Versailles Chateau/Rive Gauche. Its a 5 minute walk from there.

You could take Tram 3a to Pont du Garigliano and walk from there to the Pont du Garigliano stop on the RER C and take the train from there. It will cost you 4.5€ as compared to 2.50 going entirely by train.
