Switz to Paris. Where to swap train for car to see Burgundy/Loire Valley/Champange

Hello!
Plan to stay in Murren, Switzerland for a few days & then make our way to Paris.
Leaving Murren May 20th or 21st & flying out of Paris 2pm on 25th. A day or so is enough for us in Paris.

Would like to stop off on the way, rent a car and take a couple of days checking out burgundy and then maybe Reims in Champagne, or Loire valley making our our way towards Paris. Realize not time to see all these areas.

What train stop in France for these regions should we pick up a car?... For example, for Burgundy... take train into France to Dijon, rent car & drive around Beaune area & make our way north from there?

Where should we drop our car prior to going into Paris?

Thank you!

Stopping over in Dijon, renting a car there for a few days, and returning it there again would be the best way to discover that part of Burgundy, in my opinion. The train from Dijon to Paris is much faster than the drive.

If you want to see a bit of Champagne, you could drive to Troyes, and return the car there. Troyes is definitely worth the overnight stay.

It looks like you can rent a vehicle when you arrive at the Dijon-Ville train station and drop it off at the Reims train station where you can catch a direct train to Paris (1h).

Troyes is a very attractive town that seems to see virtually no foreign tourists.
