Swiss Air arrival at CDG & time to arrive at the rental

We are scheduled to arrive at CDG at 6:40 p.m. on a Tue in May. We are in business class (SFO-ZRH-CDG). Any idea as to how long it might take us to get through the airport (passport control? And/or customs), retrieve our checked bags and get to the taxi line? Then, approximately how long might it take with a taxi to get from CDG to the Bel Air area on the right bank, (near Metro Michel Bizot, just before the Bois de Vincennes)? We have rented a vrbo in the area and need to let the owner know about what time we might arrive. I have looked at other postings but, as were staying somewhat out-of-the-way I'm not sure how to figure this out.

You will pass through Schengen immigration at ZRH. Customs is merely picking your luggage off the belt and walking out the "Nothing-to-declare" door. Figure 30 minutes from landing to having your luggage. Wild card is what Covid protocols, if any, will be in place in May.

Depending on traffic, 45 minutes is a reasonable estimate for travel time into Paris.

You will encounter passport control upon arrival at ZRH from SFO. Air travel from Zurich to Paris falls under Schengen rules therefore the need for passport control should not apply. This will save you some time.

45 minutes is indeed a reasonable time estimate for travel by car from CDG to Paris. Your destination is quite convenient and easy to get to by car from CDG and while I would plan on 45 minutes, I would not be surprised if (a big if, BTW) with light traffic, you get there in about 30 minutes.

for folks distracted by the Zurich leg, the question is about the arrival in Paris

@ Nigel, I think everybody understands that.

I live not far from there — yes, you can make it here in 45 minutes . . .however, with traffic, it can also take an hour or an hour and a quarter. It just depends how badly traffic is backed up.
