Super shuttle to Orly from Gare de Lyon area hotel during strike

Has any one used Super Shuttle in Paris?
any reviews?
I just want to have something booked in case the RER isn't running on the strike day May 8th
I just think Taxis might be hard to get on a strike day ,

I wouldn´t necessarily take the RER from Gare de Lyon to ORY at any time. It´s very expensive because you must pay for both the RER fare and the ORLYVAL fare and it´s one of the slowest ways to reach the airport.

Shuttles are not particularly reliable in Paris but I would consider services such as Chauffeur Privé or Taxify. You could also arrange for car service from Snap car.

A taxi is 35€ from the official taxi stand to the right as you exit the terminal. Taxis on the left are those which have been reserved.

Finally, for backups, there is bus service to ORY from both Denfert-Rochereau (Orlybus) or Porte de Choisy (bus 183) with métro service to either location.

You can buy a combined Orlyval ticket. It's just a little more than the RER ticket alone. Remember to buy it as a ticket all the way from Paris to Orly and not just to where you get off the RER (in which case you have to buy another ticket for the VAL).

SuperShuttle left my wife and me high and dry in Paris! Do not rely on this service.
Because of the RER rail-worker strike, we had to find an alternate ride to CDG from our hotel near the Champs de Mars. So we scheduled and paid for a ride at 9am Tuesday for our 1pm flight. We waited outside our hotel in the rain from 8:55am to 9:24am, when the cancellation message arrived. Our driver never showed up; there was no explanation, no offer of help, no "can we reschedule?", no assistance whatsoever. The email included a phone number to call [“Contact us at (800) 410-4444”], which no one answered!! I will never use this service again, and I suggest you do not use them either. We eventually paid $80 for a ride because we were desperate.

Sorry for OregonGarvin who is not only coming here for his first post, a negative review, but also got gouged on his ride out to CDG. Suppershuttle probably got caught in strike traffic and couldn’t get to him, then he overpays for another ride. Poor guy, screwed twice in one morning. Hope the rest of the trip went better.

We left Paris on a strike date (May 24), took a bus from St Michel to Gare du Nord and then RER to CDG -- happened to get there just minutes before the RER left. (So don't know how long it would have been for the next one -- but there WERE trains running on a strike date although fewer trains than on non-strike dates.)
