Sunday in Honfleur or Rouen

Hello! I'm using my phone so don't see a search option, so sorry if this is a common question.... We are on a cruise ship heading for Le Havre tonight getting in at 0600 on a Sunday morning. This is the "Paris" stop for people willing to spend 6 hours in transit (not me!) But before I navigate to Honfleur or Rouen will anything be open? We'd be happy to sit in a cafe and pick up some caramel and Calvados, and have a nice dinner! Believe it or not, it's rather challenging to get to Honfleur despite it being just across the river; I do have the NOMAD schedule. I think the cruise excursion is over $100 pp!

There’s not going to be a cheap way to get across the bridge to Honfleur and Rouen strikes me as too far away.

The #111, 122 and 123 Nomad routes to Honfleur are cheap, but not that frequent on a Sunday.

The train to Rouen only takes 45 minutes to 1 hour- outward trains at 1003 and 1020, returns at 1204, 1305, 1323, 1404, 1459, 1604, 1705.

Even if nothing is open in Le Havre City Centre (which I doubt with a ship in port) I am sure there will be places open at Le Havre beach, especially as it is still summer- https://www.lehavre-etretat-tourisme.com/en/where-to-eat-where-to-go-out/where-to-eat/restaurants/

We went to Honfleur from Le Havre this past May.

We took a taxi from the rank directly in front of the ship. We negotiated a pick up with an extra hour from what he was first offering and it was €180 for four persons. Very easy.

It was a French public holiday so having the pick up arranged was a good idea.

Our driver was a delight! And made my day when he thought I was Quebecois!

We ended up taking a cab from the pier and then Bus 122 to Honfleur. Yes, schedules were very limited to the point there was a near altercation when loading in Le Havre as several people could not get on the bus! That left us worried about getting a seat for the return trip so we cut our lovely day short to return on an earlier bus. For my daughter and myself it was a total of €27, round trip. Considering how long we were in port (18+ hours) we could have easily made it to Rouen but we'll save that for another time.
