We are planning a day trip from Paris to Strasbourg. Does anyone have suggestion for a restaurant for a nice Sunday dinner (mid-afternoon)? We don't need Michelin level but a nice cafe within town center where we can (hopefully) make a reservation. Thank you!
Hi Therese,
I have dined in two restaurants in Strasbourg France and the cuisine is delicious in both and the prices are reasonable. Nothing too fancy but the environments are festive.
Here are the restaurants in the town:

15 Rue des Orfèvres, 67000 Strasbourg, France
You can book a reservation online
Second one is in the heart of the historic city center

5 Rue des Tailleurs de Pierre, 67000 Strasbourg, France
You can book a reservation online as well
Here's another vote for le Tire-Bouchon.
My husband's ham knuckle (I think that's what it was) topped with Muenster cheese was absolutely the best ham I have ever tasted. My fish was excellent, and our dessert sampler was way too much for the two of us.
We were there in 2016 - YMMV
Thank you so much for the recommendations!
