I will be meeting my wife in Bordeaux mid-July and we have one day (Saturday) to possibly explore wineries...Any suggestions or things to avoid?

stopping at one second grand cru chateau to buy a coupe of expensive half bottles and at the Maison du Vin in Pauillac where they had a nice selection of affordable wins from the area. Great day trip.
