We're looking for a moderately priced hotel within walking distance of the TGV station in Nantes. We are a couple, won't be dining at the hotel and don't anticipate being out late (we'll most likely be in bed by 10:00-11:00). A good bed and a quiet room are what's most important to us.
Any recommendations?

Have you looked in the Trip Reports and Hotel/Restaurant Reviews sections of this site? Failing that, I would browse through the reviews on TripAdvisor. You can book through TripAdvisor, but I've always been satisfied with the no-obligation reservations through Booking.com .

Thanks epltd. Yes, I did look there but found very little that was pertinent (near the train station). I have been reading reviews from various travel websites but would like to get input from the RS community.

Thanks for the suggestion korriganed. Aparthotel looks like a possibility. Have you stayed there? Appart'City doesn't get very good reviews, but I think that's a different chain.
I'm also thinking of staying at the Kyriad Nantes Centre Gare. Does anyone have any experience with that particular hotel?

We stayed at the Hotel Pommeraye in central Nantes in October 2013. We found it to be quiet, comfortable, and very reasonably priced. I noticed it's still getting good reviews on Trip Advisor.

We recently stayed at the Hotel Voltaire Opera in Nantes. It is in a great location. We took an Uber from the train station.It cost about 7 Euro an it took about 10 minutes. The tram from the train station stops a couple of blocks from the hotel as well. The rooms were great and the staff was very polite and helpful. We were there 3 nights and only ate their breakfast one morning because that was a little pricey. Otherwise we loved everything about our stay there.
