Suggestions for Lyon/ places to eat

Hello All,

I am visiting Lyon from 2.19-2.21. I don’t know much about the city but people have said it was nice. Does anyone have any recommendations for things to do in February or nice restaurants for a dinner splurge?

Thanks in advance and happy holidays!

a.g.swistowski - Nice to see you again. As for Lyon, there are many things to do to enjoy this city. The old town is a great place to start exploring. You will find excellent french gourmet cuisine in the neighborhood of Presqu’île. Rue Mercière is one long line of superb restaurants. In Lyon, you can visit places like Fourvière Basilica, Musée des Beaux-Arts de Lyon, Ancient Theatre of Fourvière,
, Lyon Cathedral, Lyon’s Murals, Institut Lumière, and Parc de la Tête d’Or. If you want to see some charming french towns outside of Lyon, then a day trip to Pérouges or Annecy is an option. Both places are near Lyon.
