Need to get to Vaison LA Romaine and trains are not working. Need to be there on Saturday April 30th. Do not want to drive (i.e. rent a car). Any suggestions on getting there? No problem taking the bus. Not sure when the rail issues will be resolved. We check out of our hotel on Saturday the 30th.

What do you mean that the trains aren't running? There is a possible rail strike for tomorrow, but things should be normal for the weekend. But I'm not sure if there's a train station in Vaison la Romaine. How were you planning to get there and get around once there?

The strike was expected to begin at 7:00 p.m. on Monday 25 April and end at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday 27 April - though some unions could opt to set a slightly different time or date. Travelers can verify train statuses by entering the route information or train numbers at http://www.sncf.com/fr/horaires-info-trafic or enquire at the train station. That link does show trains operating between Villenueve Loubet and Orange, from where you can connect to a bus.
