We will be in Strasbourg for 3 days mid-June. Looking for restaurant recommendations in the Cathedral / La Petite France area (walkable). Two adults. Non-smoking unless tables are outside. Has anyone eaten at La Table du Gayot in the Place du Marche Gayot?

We ate at La Table du Gayot in December 2022 and loved it! I can't remember what we had, but everyone enjoyed it and service was friendly.
We didn't have a reservation but we did arrive right when they opened. We watched them turn away several other parties who arrived after us, so I'd recommend reserving in advance or getting there first thing.

Nice weather? Sit under the trees at the big cafe near the Pont Tournant. Good traditional meal at Au Pont du courbeau. Do not under any circumstances go to Mon l’oncle Freddy, despite 9+ Fork reviews. Inedible.

We ate Le Baeckeoffe d’Alsace. Food was good. We ate outdoors. It is on a canal. Our visit was in 2013. Recent reviews have been from excellent to awful
