While in Paris we will need to store several bags for 4-5 hours. Are there any convenient and inexpensive places to do this.

Best place is often a hotel where you will be staying (or have recently stayed). Are you just passing through, with no plans to sleep in Paris?

Aside from your hotel, there are many luggage storage options in Paris. There is storage at several of the mainline train stations. Look at https://www.sncf.com/sncv1/en/services/luggage for more information. You can also try citylocker.fr or eelway.com or nannybag.com.
