HI! We're planning a trip to Paris and Berlin. We'll be traveling by train. I'd so appreciate suggestions on where we could spend a few days on the way to break up the trip.

Lots of interesting towns located along Germany's western border (east of Belgium & Netherlands).
Or Bruges/Brugge Belgium.
Or Amsterdam.

Or central Germany. Base yourself in Bamberg and have day trips to cities like Würzburg, Nürnberg and Coburg.

Hi,
If you are taking the central route Paris to Berlin, I suggest too the Frankfurt area as already pointed out, or Minden an der Weser, .
Closer to Berlin...Neustrelitz, Rheinsberg if you're doing this trek by car.
