Looking for hotel / arbnb mid/ budget friendly recommendations in the 5th or 6th for a 6-day stay. Then 1 night in Bordeaux.
Planning to take the train to Reims and Bruges for day trips.

I recommend the Hotel Des Grandes Ecoles in the 5th, the Hotel Pereyve in the 6th (great location), and the Hotel Studia in the 5th. The room I had in the latter was surprisingly large and the team was very nice.

I can recommend the Renaissance located in the Chartrons district. Recognizable by the former grain elevators that are incorporated into the design. Great rooftop bar with fantastic views of the city. Convenient to the Cité du Vin and the tram that gets you anywhere in the city you'd want to go.
