St. Tropez restaurants

Hello everyone.
We will be in St. Tropez next week for a day. I would like to know if you can suggest some good restaurants by the beach that truly have some good food and hopefully service, as well. It is going to be my husband's birthday so would like to make it extra special. Also, what would you recommend to do there for a day? We will be staying in Cannes, so could make another drive.
