From the official website it appears that tickets are only available as a combo with the Conciergerie , and cost 40 Euros per ticket for Americans. Am I reading this correctly?
I'm seeing 22.00 € for an adult, non-EEA visitor ticket for the chapel only, and 30,00 € for the non-EEA visitor ticket combo with the Conciergerie. Are you using the proper website?

The St Chapelle website says it is 22 euros per person.
The Paris Museum Pass is 85 euros per person for two days, if you are thinking about visiting a few other places.

In addition to the information you have already been given, there is another museum pass that includes Sainte-Chapelle that could be useful for your trip.
The Passion Monuments Subscription is valid for 1 year and provides unlimited access to more than 80 monuments in France.
The cost is €49 for an individual membership and €78 for a duo membership.
In Paris alone, you'll have free admission to
- Sainte-Chapelle
- Conciergerie
- The Towers of Notre Dame
- Arc de Triomphe
- The Pantheon
- Hotel de la Marine
- Basilica of St. Denis
There are several other benefits with the pass, including special entrances or priority security lines, gift shop discounts and more.
I bought a duo Passions Monument Subscription last year and it quickly paid for itself. Look to see if there are other places you want to see that are included. At some locations you don’t have to stand in a long line.
Okay, thanks. I’ll have to work a little harder to figure this out.
We visited St. Chappelle in Jan. I had a pocketknife. It was confiscated. The church is so spectacular that I didn't mind the loss. Silly me for taking a pocketknife.
Regarding the Passion Monuments pass, we plan to get one for our next trip in October.
Should they be purchased online before we arrive, or should we get them there?
Does it allow repeated entries into monuments? My husband particularly wants to visit Mont Saint Michel abbey late in the day and early the next morning.
Thanks for the help.
DebH,
Unless you want a hardcopy pass, I would purchase the Passion Monuments Subscription on line. You'll receive an email with a digital pass that you can present for admission. I also keep a screenshot of my pass in case there's a problem connecting to my email.
The pass is valid for 1 year from date of purchase and allows unlimited admissions to all monuments included.
jeanm, thanks so much.
I am very happy with digital, so I will purchase it here in Australia before we leave.
