Could anyone make suggestions for restaurant for a special last night in Paris? We are staying in the Rue Cler area but would not be limited to that area if really special. We do have one in our party that will not eat fish or veal (the rest of us are game for anything)

How about Le Ciel du Paris on top of the Montparnasse Tower. Fabulous view, including the Eiffel Tower. Food is good and reasonably priced. There is a dedicated elevator to the restaurant with no charge and a short, if any, wait. You can see their menu on their website.
Bistrot Belhara is very good and nearby where you're staying. Ask for a map - it's not far, but on a small street.
You will need reservations because it's a small restaurant.
Another idea is Le Calife dinner cruise. Food is prepared on board and very good. Seeing the city all lit up and the Eiffel Tower twinkling is magical. Check their website. You have to book within 30 days prior to your date
