South of France - finding the right place to finish our trip

We are headed to the South of France in September to celebrate our anniversary. We have been to Nice a few times before and have chose to stay there for the first few days. The goal is to go somewhere we have been so we will hopefully just relax and enjoy. The next two days will be spent in Eze. We have been here as well and know it is small but could not pass up the air bnb we found. We are hoping to see villefrance sur mer the days we stay in Eze. We have extended our trip for one extra day and are thinking about staying in Menton. Does anyone have any suggestions on hotels or best places to stay? Or should we head to a different town instead? Again, we are just trying our best to take it easy and not cram everything in as we normally do. Hoping for beach days, good food, culture and wondering.

Thank you!

Why not head east, to Cannes or even further east (as far Ramatuelle or Hyeres). The architecture shifts to less Italian and more French, and the beaches get sandier. Location may depend on transport and the time remaining. (Note some beach clubs start to close down from mid September)

Gooster means 'west' not east.

Personally I would not want to pack my luggage and move to a different location 10 miles away just for one day: you could easily visit Menton from Eze. Do you have one extra night, or two? Could you extend your stay in Eze? It would make sense if you just have another night.
Antibes comes to mind, otherwise.

I cannot comment on Menton but I'd consider Antibes if you haven't been there. we stayed at Mas Djoliba. It is adorable. Or if you are into wine - check out Bandol. Although it may be a little far.
