South of France Choice

I am planning the second half of a trip for my parents this upcoming week (late notice I know). They are spending the first three days biking around Alpilles Natural Park but I am not sure where they should go for the second half.

They have from June 1-3 in the Marseilles/Cassis area, then need to return to Paris for a day for their flight. Does anyone have recommendations for three days along the coast in this region?

If your parents are sporty (I assume they are since they're biking), they could happily spend more time in the Marseille / Cassis area (preferably the latter), there's a lot of hiking available as well as sea kayaking and other activities.
Or they could head further east for three days, for instance in Hyères or Le Lavandou (the latter is best with a car). Still easy to head back to Paris with the train from Hyères.

I think they will stay around Cassis and explore the Calanques. Thank you for the advice!

Suggest that they visit Aigues-Mortes.

We spent two nights in Cassis and hiked and boated* to the Calanques, which was great (* we rented an outboard motor boat, but upon departure in the a.m., there was so much fog and chop that my eldest child and I requested being taken back to shore, where we hiked from the port to the Port En Vau calanque while my hubby and two other kids went back out in the motor boat). The hike was SO fun. Crowded (July) but so beautiful. You pass two other calanques before getting to port en vau. We swam there for a few hours and cliff jumped, and then took the motor boat (all of us) back. The return in the boat was beautiful and not at all choppy. Perfect day. Cassis is small, charming, quite touristed, but maybe not so bad in May.
You can hike to the Calanques from Marseille but I believe the trail is longer and more exposed. The nice thing about starting from Cassis is that we could walk to the trailhead from town.
