My partner and I are in a small town in the south of France and are flying out of Paris in 5 days. We are not planning to rent a car and are looking at stopping once or twice along the way. We were thinking the loire valley would be challenging without a car. Any advice on destinations would be appreciated.
Impossible to offer meaningful responses unless we know the small town or what rail center it might be close to.
Generally, the Loire Valley is very easy to visit without a car as long as you base yourself out of the area´s transportation hub - Tours.
Yes sorry that should have been mentioned. We are in Targassonne/Égat
We based out of Amboise and had a car…..i think to see the chateaus you need a car…….
