I just found out (I think) that because I have layover in London on my way to France I have to have a test??? Anyone else ? Also, I sent my information for my passe sanitaire over a month ago, and still no answer. I leave in 6 days. So frustrated.
so these are two separate things.
reapply for your passe; even if you don't get it, you'll be ok with your CDC card.
if hte UK requires a test for transit pax, then yes, you have to test.
Scroll down the page to ‘Transiting through England’…….
I’d suggest for your Pass Sanitaire you go in to your “dossier” and send a message during business hours in France asking if additional information is needed as you travel soon. Make it short and sweet, just enough to ping someone. Stay alert because it may move from the “in construction “ status to “in review” in minutes and you may get a quick message back asking for clarification of something.
Do not worry about this. Most Folks are reporting no problem showing the US CDC card. My personal experience with the Pass Sanitaire in Paris at present is 100% checking in museums, maybe 60% checking in restaurants. I’m not sure if it’s because 2 older American gals are not suspected to be monitors from the government or what, lol.
My husband has applied 3 times. The third time he got his pass in less than 5 min. Mine we have never heard anything back. We tried sending messages, sending in English and French . Etc. We gave up now. And honestly you do not need the pass on your phone. They ask for pass sanitaire at restaurants about 60% of the time. I pull my card out, they see I have something and say ok and that’s it. Soo easy! No need to worry at all. Anytime a restaurant has tried to read my vaccine certificate I prompt them. Saying 2 doses Pfizer. That helps too.
My husband received his passé Mon morning after 2 submissions. I however have not and have tried 3 times. We leave Fri. Reassuring to read it’s not really needed. I figured one is better than none. Very excited!
Hi, we were in Nice for 3 days and were asked only twice about vaccinations. Our CDC card sufficed. We just showed the card and said 2 doses Pfizer.
Hope this helps,
Allan
EDIT: Today we took a rapid covid antigen test at a pharmacy in Nice and had the results within 20 minutes. You are then able to upload the results to the Tous Covid app
Very few places are asking for anything CDC or pass sanitaire anymore. I’ve been here for a few weeks and eating all over town, very few requests to see either these days, Not good.
