SNCF train: Pre-buy? Price increase?

Hello all,
We are traveling in mid-October and need to take the train from Gare Saint-Lazare to Rouen via SNCF. Do these prices go up closer to the date, like the Eurostar? Or are they pretty static?
Also, should I expect a full train? I'm not sure how much of a risk it is to wait to buy.

Thank you!

IIRC, trains to Rouen are intercities not TGVs. Prices shouldn't fluctuate much. Check yourself on the sncf website. Look at fares for tomorrow. Then look at the same time and day a month from now. I think trains are quite frequent.

Full fare seems to be €27. You can get non-changeabpe/non-refundable tickets for as little as €10 if others don't get to them first.

For a trip as short as that I would suspect the price fluctuation, if any, would be inconsequential in the context of the overall cost of your trip.

In short, I wouldn't worry about it.

Enjoy your visit.
