Supposedly SNCF has has summer tickets on sale since 2/26. We've received multiple emails stating as such and even their website says to book your summer tickets now. However, we're only finding Ouigo train tickets available. Any TGV or InOui train just says "non-bookable." Anyone experience this or know when the other tickets will be able to be purchased? Thank you :)
I'm having the same problem, Matthew--it's very confusing to sort out the booking arrangements for SNCF.
Is anyone out there with clues to this mystery?
Thank you!
Try buying your tickets from trainline.com.
According to a FB post on seat61.com SNCF will open those routes for reservations on March 7.
"TGV INOUI in France and Europe and INTERCITÉS
Opening of circulation from 05/23 to 07/05/24: March 7, 2024
Opening of circulation from 07/06 to 09/11 on: March 13, 2024"
From the website: https://www.sncf-connect.com/aide/l-ouverture-des-ventes
I was seeing those ads on the sncf connect website and I did a little bit of investigation and the tickets they are referring to (or at least the ones I saw listed) were the out of country type trips to other countries. The March 7 and 13th seem to be still correct per the sncf connect website.
I can confirm I was able to buy my July Barcelona - Nimes tickets last week from SNCF, but the inter-France tickets are not yet available.
Thanks for posting the release dates!
I received my alert from SNCF today that tickets were available for purchase today for May 27th. I'm now set for taking the train from Bordeaux Saint Jean to Paris Montparnasse!
Got my notice today and bought my Paris->Rennes tickets for early June.
