Snacks/power bars while site seeing in Paris

My husband and I are visiting Paris for the first time. We are going to be doing A LOT of walking and don't want to keep stopping to eat. Does anyone have recommendations on what we can buy while in Paris that we can carry in my tote. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

Pastries, chocolate, cheese, baguette sandwiches, sidewalk crepes (which you can eat while walking). You will see lots of tempting food.

Estella,

I chose to go for croissants. Not that i would carry one, but they were soooo good, i had to have more than one.

happy trails.

Definitely try the crepe stands or stop for a few minutes to get a pastry like the natives do. There ought to be a law against the thought of eating a power bar in Paris.

I often go to a supermarket on my way "home" and pick up a few things that I can carry around the next day. . . fruit, veggies, sandwich makings, even prepared salads. The sandwiches are kind of expensive at the shops (but good), and I really don't like crepes. If you are going to walk off the calories, just stop in any patisserie and buy anything - usually not expensive and always yummy.
