small town for 1 night on a Sunday between Toulouse & Arles?

Hello, I will be in Arles from next Monday to Wednesday, and would love to stay in small village closer to Arles. I will be traveling by public transit, so somewhere that is along a train or bus route. Also, I imagine most things are closed Sundays, but I will have until Monday late morning to check out the location. thank you so much for your help!

A village can be closed down on Monday, too.
If I understand correctly, you are traveling from Toulouse to Arles. How about stopping in Sète for the overnight. Not a village, but a village can really lack services like a hotel or open restaurant.
